Regular tank maintenance is always recommended to keep a livable and non polluted environment for the fish and other aquatic inhabitants. There are several different processes that need to be followed for the optimal aquarium. In order to meet our high standard of excellence, we show the following steps required to keep the aquarium healthy and flourishing:

Reef Tank

  1. Inspect all the fish and other inhabitants for disease
  2. Test all the parameters of the water
  3. Scrape the algae off the glass or acrylic
  4. Conduct a 10% water change
  5. Clean the filter and replace pads and media as needed
  6. Wipe down tank to remove all water marks
  7. Wipe down stand to remove all residue inside and out
  8. Inform customer of any concern or needs for the aquarium
  9. SALTWATER ONLY: Clean protein skimmer

For reef and saltwater tanks, All Aquatics offers up to 15 gallons of water at no charge, in order to assure the quality care of salinity, ph, and temperature. The water is of the highest quality, pre-conditioned by reverse-osmosis filtration, and mixed with Tropic Marin salt. This pre-conditioned water is far less stressful on the inhabitants of the aquarium, and rules out the types of contaminates commonly found in regular tap water.

For fresh water aquariums, regular tap water is used (contaminates are not as damaging to the fresh water environment) and dechlorinator is added. It is then mixed at room temperature.

If you should have any questions or concerns regarding aquarium service please feel free to contact us. You will find that All Aquatics is attentive to your needs.
